Here are the top three Poker Books / eBooks based on Experience and Players review.
1. Harrington on Hold 'em Expert Strategy for No Limit Tournaments, Vol. 2: Endgame by Bill Robertie
"The most well-written, practical book out there on playing in tournaments, although quite a bit applies to cash games as well. It has some ideas never before put into print. Better than his cash game books.
There is nothing else like this book, besides volume 1. I put this ahead of volume 1 because it covers more moves and techniques."
2. Harrington on Hold 'em Expert Strategy for No Limit Tournaments, Vol. 1: Strategic Play by Dan Harrington
"This is really 1A: the most well-written, practical book out there, part 2. Better than his cash game books. Covers many situations and real-life examples from pro players in-depth.
This and volume 2 are absolutely essential; get these books - many of the good players you will play against will know this material."
3. The Theory of Poker: A Professional Poker Player Teaches You How To Think Like One by David Sklansky
"The general poker theory bible. Very good in terms of how to think about poker. It addresses many other forms of poker as well."
