Due to his political opinions Dr Saunders is imprisoned on the island of Samar. The military commander of the area needs a doctor to help civilians move inland. The march will be tough and dangerous and they must fight headhunters and typhoon madness in the thickest of jungles. Along the way they discover a lost city.
