Lets all go an celebrate the music and lives of the Allman Brothers and much, much more!

The Devon Allman Project is a six piece band featuring two percussionists, John Lum & R. Scott Bryan (Sheryl Crow), bassist Justin Corgan, guitarist Jackson Stokes and a Hammond B3 player, Nicholas David. The club/theater shows feature a 30 minute opening set with Duane Betts using his go to guitar player, John Satchela Jr., and Devon’s rhythm section. After a 15 minute break the Devon Allman Project plays a one hour set which will includes songs from Honeytribe, Royal Southern Brotherhood, The Devon Allman Band and a few covers. The night culminates with a 30 minute plus encore featuring all eight musicians playing Allman Brothers tunes and other classics.

Former leader of Honeytribe and Royal Southern Brotherhood, son of Gregg Allman - "He's an elegant, soulful singer.” - Relix “… well-crafted, more reflective than fiery, and soulful.” - USA Today

Duane Betts is the son of Dickie Betts, Rock Hall of Famer, and Grammy Award Winner, for “Jessica.” Recognized as one of the greatest rock guitar players of all time,[3] he had early on in his career one of rock’s finest guitar partnerships with Duane Allman, introducing melodic twin guitar harmony and counterpoint which "rewrote the rules for how two rock guitarists can work together, completely scrapping the traditional rhythm/lead roles to stand toe to toe". Dickey Betts the opening for stardom as a co-founder and key contributor to the Allman Brothers Band. In addition to the harmonies, his melodic, country-esque lead guitar style contrasted perfectly with Duane's fiery, blues/jazz-based style. He also wrote songs including "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" and "Blue Sky" that became radio and concert staples.

After the death of Duane Allman in late 1971, Betts became the band's sole guitarist and also took on a greater singing and leadership role. Betts, over the course of one night's traveling, practiced slide guitar intensively in order to cover the majority of Duane's parts. He went on to write such Southern Rock classics as "Jessica" and the Allmans' biggest commercial hit, "Ramblin' Man."
