First into the First Dates restaurant is 31-year-old health care assistant Anthony. With a wild past and lack of serious relationships, Anthony is keen to ‘meet the one’. His date is 26-year-old speech therapist Lawrence, who’s never been in love and feels his ‘dating river has run dry’. Wedding singer Georgina is ‘always the singer, never the bride’. The 31-year-old meets Adam, a 32-year-old property developer who prides himself on knowing how to treat a lady. Receptionist Bev, who’s 61, has been single for 19 years and worries that her confidence intimidates men. Howard is a 53-year-old former bank manager who has become a famous performer. Will Bev recognise Howard’s famous face? David is on the lookout for someone to share his love of raving in Ibiza, alongside family time with his four sons. Anneka is a 33-year-old mum of one who has ‘never grown up’ and loves to spend her weekends partying. It seems a match made in heaven.
