Encoder's Notes: This is the uncut Australian version of the film.
About six minutes was cut for the International market, and various Aussie slang and curse words were removed or (poorly) dubbed over.
As for the video quality, sadly, there isn't much to speak of. This version only got one DVD master back in 1997.
I've done my best to clean it up, but there isn't much you can do with a hard-interlaced, grainy, blocky DVD that's been sped up to 25 fps (which I've corrected) and letterboxed.
As for the film itself, it's a classic that's sadly had much of its heart gutted for international markets, being left to die on a budget DVD and never to be seen in HD by the general public.
Regardless, I'm releasing this in an attempt to bring the superior Aussie version to a broader audience. Enjoy!
